Club NewsShedfield CC(February 06, 2013)It is sad to have to report that a regular name within the Pyestock CC fixture list will not be returning for the 2013 season. We were informed today that the fixture with Shedfield CC, scheduled to take place on Sunday 4th August has been cancelled as Sheldfield will not be running a side for the forseeable future. Oddly, despite 2013 being the 3rd scheduled fixture between the 2 sides, swords were never crossed as a mixture of poor player availability and attrocious weather condemned both previous fixtures. As such, despite Pyestock and Shedfield never setting on the same pitch as one another, the fixture will not be renewed and Pyestock CC shall be seeking a new opponent for the vacant date. Pyestock CC offer its best wishes to all those involved in Shedfield CC for the future. |
