Change of Captaincy for 2017

(October 27, 2016)

Following Saturday’s AGM, we are sad to announce that Neil Butler has decided to stand down as Pyestock CC’s Club Captain.

Neil has captained a total of 17 seasons for Pyestock CC since first taking on the position in 1991 and steps down after completing ten consecutive seasons as Captain, making him by far Pyestock’s longest serving Captain to date. Everyone at the club would like to thank Neil for his service and we are pleased to report that Neil has said he will continue to turn out for the side on a Sunday!

Vice-Captain Chris Heath steps up to the position of Club Captain for the 2017 season with Jon Ford taking on the role of Vice-Captain. All other club positions remained the same following the AGM with Peter Harris remaining as Chairman, Paul Heath as Secretary, Norrie Short as Treasurer and Chris Heath as Fixture Secretary.
