Chris Heath

Following the "changing of the guard" that has taken place in the last few years, former Captain Chris is now the longest serving member of the current playing squad.  The regular opening bowler uses his left arm variation to bring a different dimension to the attack, he has topped the wicket taking charts regularly over the past few seasons, and took his 500th wicket at Ramsdell against Whiteditch Rams CC on the day England won the World Cup in 2019, and a rejuvinated 2020 saw him top the bowling charts in every department and claim the Cooper Cup for the 5th time. Took 11 seasons to score a first ever half-century at Old Woking in a satisfying victory. underwent ankle surgery ahead of the 2024 season, and its hoped a similar level of performance can be maintained.
